Thoughts about Russia???

hero

We have no evidence that the Kremlin, like its Russian compatriots, has ever engaged in cyber activities and that Russia has no knowledge of cyber efforts under its control. Even more interesting is the fact that the US has tried to take advantage of the crisis involving cyber attacks on the US. For example, in 2006, US diplomats in the UK were accused of being used to conduct cyber terrorism against an American journalist based in Washington. In 2008, a high ranking Russian official even was charged with having committed espionage against U.S. President Barack Obama. So Russian disinformation campaigns against U.S. officials have been directed at the President on two separate occasions. On the one occasion, the former Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the Council on Foreign Relations said that Russia "did not interfere directly with our elections or influence our voting to the extent of influencing our elections or influence our national sentiment." In addition, both of these Russian disinformation messages were supposedly carried out by American agencies or government agencies. It's also possible that Russian or Russian government organizations tried to take advantage of the fact that Washington was losing the election by having multiple foreign policy announcements. One possibility is that these people were involved in the operation of an online campaign to influence our political discourse because the United States won a clear majority of the vote (by just 16 votes) in a referendum for that position. If you look at the polls in the United States lately, the polling showed a close one (57-44 percent, according to the NBC News Polls). If you look at more recent polls, however, they just showed a very close one with a very close winner. It is very likely that the disinformation campaign was actually initiated by the National Republican Institute for this country. In addition, there was information about the actual election results during the past few days, so it may have been an attempt to sway the American people's vote.

What about the allegations about US spying on Russia?

As many have said regarding cyber incidents reported to the press prior to the 2014 election, cyber attack by the US on the Russian government in order to undermine our democratic system was a factor in all of these allegations and they were not about Russia. They were not about US interference in Russian politics, but about an attempt to sway the American election by hacking the voting machine of our citizens and that is very worrying because that would have been more damaging than just the election itself. In order to avoid such a situation, it would have made one suspect suspect as to whether Russia was doing anything else. However, what we also know is that the US was not acting like a state actor (as the word is now in the media) by leaking sensitive information about American citizens. This is why one can tell whether an information leak is motivated by the need to avoid conflict or not.

  1. How much longer can we keep up this lefty bullsh*t we need to stay strong to our values.

  2. I can’t agree more, as my brother went on to become a volunteer in Syria, fighting alongside Syrian moderate opposition versus Assad – and died. All because US did not stop Assad in 2011-2012.
