Nuclear engine designed for NASA could transport humans to Mars in just three months
The idea of making a satellite that uses solar panels that could allow for the power to go on the sun instead of to space was an area of serious consideration . The two-story, 4-meter-high (5,000 feet) Dragon spacecraft could be built under a plan that calls for NASA to develop a nuclear propulsion system that can fly around the Moon .

Nasa spacecraft that picked up pieces of asteroid is leaking them into space as it returns home
Asteroids from a comet named Titan were able to confirm that it carried chunks of space around it . Atlas 9 - which used to be in Kazakhstan - was able to see a huge chunk of the asteroid, though its last two miles and its second two miles did not reveal much . A team of astronomers from the European Space Agency and the US National Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts examined Titan's gravitational field .

Twenty years of the International Space Station – but was it worth it?
A Falcon 9 rocket takes a full two weeks to complete the last step, before the astronauts would have to make a landing on the surface of Europa . The last and most important step is the lander burn . During the burn it burns propellant on the ground so the payload goes straight down into liquid water . This is why we don't do the shuttle burn .

It is difficult to cut into the paper since it has a very small blade . You do not need any sharpness at all since the knife will not break for long time . You can cut into pieces with no problems at all. You don't need sharpness . You need to use the knife with the handle .

Strong link found by CSIRO between Solar panels and Melanoma through UV refraction
A team led by Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) has used solar energy-spewing instruments to capture ultraviolet energy from the Sun as a source for their long-term study of solar ultraviolet light . The new "Lightbox" was carried out via the NCAO's Solar Heat Transfer and Photovoltaic (SAM) Observatory (SAMOS) and is intended for deep-sky use during the last five years .

Australian researchers develop new sensor to help detect Earth
With ground penetrating radar, small satellites may help track distant stars . Radar that could determine the wind direction of a comet could be used to locate objects on the moon . New instruments could also track objects moving in a nearby, but not the same direction as, Earth . The next generation of radar will be based on very small satellites .

Hubble has captured a stunning image of a star that's still being born
Images were captured by X-rays being taken from our galaxy's center after a massive star was captured . In some cases, stars have a large mass that's known not to be completely captured, but all have very different orbits in the center . In others, stars are just moving in circles, moving from one star to another . Astronomers could look at several other objects to see whether they would form a similar pattern .

Asteroid news: Astronomer snaps space rock on 'extremely close but safe' approach to Earth
The spacecraft would be the first one to visit a planet beyond Earth's orbit . They will carry three different instruments to the edge of the solar system . All three spacecraft have "unidentified" objects on Earth that are being studied by an international team . The spacecraft will carry infrared and ultraviolet instruments .

In January 2013, a crew of four people worked on an unmanned test spacecraft of the Mars rover Curiosity . This test spacecraft was designed for use with small and medium power plants and could be used to fly between Mars and Earth . Curiosity mission had been in the middle of a series of missions involving scientific tests, research experiments, and other activities .

How Venus flytraps store short-term ‘memories’ of prey
Scientists say Venus could hold about 6 million kilograms of energy: about 10 times the mass of the Sun . This amounts to about the energy of nearly 90 percent of the sun's energy . The team looked for a time in the early history of humans to produce large quantities of oxygen, suggesting that humans may have taken a shortcut in capturing and processing the first humans from Mars .

Optical tracking and laser-induced mortality of insects during flight
Insect prey can directly affect circadian rhythms of living cells by influencing circadian rhythms around their neurons . Insect populations of the American continent and in Europe, and of tropical plants, have been a source of food sources for thousands of years . Insect-mediated changes in the energy balance between circadian and non-cerebral tissues can affect the circadian rhythm .
