Kremlin propagandist Dmitry Peskov wrote on his Twitter account that "the criminal proceedings of The Prosecutor's Office will be taken seriously" by the international criminal court in Russia, AP news agency reported as citing a source who was not named in court papers.

At the end of the interview, the Russian hacker was quoted as saying: "There's nothing wrong with being a thief and that's why the whole issue of theft is so important to Russia. It's just that we should also help [our adversary], the U.S."

The alleged hacking was carried out by a Russian intelligence operation dubbed RT (Russian for Russian Resistance). Russian media reported in February 2015 that Moscow was seeking to disrupt American elections at the urging of President-elect Donald Trump. The hackers, as well as U.S. media outlets, have been targeting U.S. elections in recent years. Russia has blamed Donald Trump's election loss for the country's growing inequality and economic woes.

President Vladimir Putin has called the 2016 U.S. election a fraud. Russian intelligence agencies took credit for the hacks and have questioned Trump, even though Russia has denied any role in the hacks.

  1. How much longer can we keep up this lefty bullsh*t we need to stay strong to our values.

  2. I can’t agree more, as my brother went on to become a volunteer in Syria, fighting alongside Syrian moderate opposition versus Assad – and died. All because US did not stop Assad in 2011-2012.
