The same thing happened in august what trend keeps repeating itself?

The point is that most people would like to keep the economic rate low without getting rid of the deficit. For us the idea is that there is a strong need for fiscal stimulus.

My view is there are two sides to the same coin. A lack of policy interest in the domestic economy or lack of commitment from many politicians on both parties to the budget deficit is a major cause for concern among many people. A lack of action from many of the political leaders would lead to a "fiscal cliff" that seems to be happening, in some cases, but that is what the country is seeing, and that is where people should go to seek alternatives to government programs.

I think that most people agree that the fiscal situation in Greece is rather poor compared to what is occurring in several countries, but there are others that do not, and I think in Greece, as in others, there is no choice.

To have fiscal policy based on government revenues and revenues from the budget deficit is the best way to solve this problem. I think that in the short term it seems like the current situation would be a fine compromise. I think there is a good argument, including from economists who, in my view, are not experts in fiscal economics, and that the current situation is unsustainable.

This is in part thanks to Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' decision to allow the public to pay more attention to policy issues. I'm happy to take this time to share my views in return.

  1. How much longer can we keep up this lefty bullsh*t we need to stay strong to our values.

  2. I can’t agree more, as my brother went on to become a volunteer in Syria, fighting alongside Syrian moderate opposition versus Assad – and died. All because US did not stop Assad in 2011-2012.
