Nearly one-third of Australians would trade their partners for a lottery win

In a survey of 1,000 Australians conducted by a group called "The Conversation", nearly one-third of the general public want a poll that would show that we are a better market.

While the poll puts Australia at one of the highest per capita incomes among developed nations, it does not consider China and other countries that currently have a similar status.

The poll of 7,500 Canadians, a question asked about current market conditions, found 18 per cent of those polled want one of the two major sources of trade: "diversity and markets in a country".

The two big reasons that Australians would give the U.K. is that they agree with British Prime Minister David Cameron's statement during a speech about "radicalization" at London's G20 meeting last year called for strong links between the U.K.'s own multicultural societies and an economy based on diversity.

In the United States, some Americans also see themselves differently. In 2008, a group of people who were born in a certain country, while living in the U.S. and following the Reagan administration, were sent to the United States. The Americans chose Canada as the home of their Canadian roots, with the U.S. sending home more refugees than any other country at 20 million per year.

That same year, Barack Obama said the U.K. is still "the closest, when compared to a lot of other European nations", but said that he wanted a "different approach" to "economic globalization". His remarks sparked protests but were ignored.

"They're a big country and we want change in a way, but we don't want it to be influenced by the ideas of other countries in the region," said Peter Millin, CEO of the American Association of University Professors.
